Fwd: Thanksgiving Fest

Hello Everyone,

I hope this email finds you in joy! We have decided to move serving our fellow classmates until Friday Dec. 6th (Friday of next week). This comes in the light of news of the snow storm and the fact that some of our classmates have already began to go back home.

We apologize for the change.

Blessings to all and we hope you have a wonderful holiday of Thanks Giving!

FW: Passage for Bible study this Tuesday (Nov 19) at 7PM

Hi everyone,

Bible study is tonight, please see below for details! Also, we discussed some very weighty topics last time from Romans 9, namely the Sovereignty of God. I believe that, as followers of Christ, it is imperative that we wrestle with who God is and seeking to know him more intimately. For this reason, I would like to invite those who would like to continue this conversation to join us at lunch tomorrow in 1-7438 Hawkins Rm (peri-adolph auditorium area). We will take a look at a chapter in Pastor Francis Chan book Erasing Hell (no, I didn't choose this because our names sound alike).

Hope to see you soon!

Blessings,
Chanh and Andres

Subject: CMDA Winter Conference 2014

Dear CMDA Student Leaders,

Registration for CMDA's Northeast Winter conference is OPEN<http://www.cmda.org/WCM/cmdaforms/ccm/newinterstudent.html>!

As most of you know, this is an amazing opportunity to get away with your group, relax, and grow in the Lord. This year's theme is The Life Cycle of a Christian Doctor: Walking in the Way of the Great Physician, and our Speaker, Dr. Shari Falkenheimer will speak of her years of experience as a Christian in healthcare to share how God has faithfully led her and will faithfully lead YOU and your fellow Christians at your respective schools. The amazing small group sessions will return, and as always there is free time for studying (if you HAVE to) or activities like basketball, tundra football, and maybe ice fishing will return ;p. The cost for students is a heavily underwritten $100 and the conference center<http://www.sandycove.org/> is much more than a cabin in the woods! Find out all about it @ www.cmda.org/wc2014<http://www.cmda.org/wc2014> and don't forget that for most schools this is a holiday weekend (MLK Jr. birthday). BTW, this is for all healthcare training students!

Please use the attached items to share about the conference with your campus fellowships and plan on coming as a group! Thanks in advance for helping us spread the word, and please let me know if you have any questions!

In Him,

Scott

PS: if we know of the need in advance, we can help make car-pooling connections

Upcoming Fellowship Events

Hello everyone,

I hope this email finds you well and setting the mark in your respective duties. I wanted to share with you all the schedule for the activities we have talked about in the past.

The schedule looks as follows:

Fellowship Lunch:  This Wednesday November 13th from @ noon in PBL 5. Please bring lunch and be prepared to spend some quality time together :) There will be a good probability we will be providing some dessert, but if any of you wants to bring anything to share feel free to do so (absolutely NOT required).

Reverse bake "sale": Thanksgiving theme to serve our classmates. This will be Nov. 25th but we are still looking for real good ideas! For now we are thinking of sending a google doc out for people to sign up something they would like to bring.

Christmas gift exchange: Dec. 7th. Still in the plans.

If you have questions or contributions please let us know.

PS. Attached find a flyer regarding the Janice Lynn Symposium.

Blessings!
